CCO 2015 Awards: Outstanding Graduate in Applied Arts

Recipient: Raja Gill, Trebas Institute.

Raja graduated with a Diploma in Film/TV Production and Post-Production from Trebas Institute in 2014. He was always eager to study film editing techniques and spent many extra hours fine-tuning his work as well as participating in volunteer work. Raja evoked a passion during his studies, internship and eventual career.

“He was the sort of student that others began to follow, as he would help keep the flow and mood positive, in Editing as well as his many other classes,” stated Kalman Szegvary, Head of Film/TV for Trebas.
After completing his internship at Sun News Network, he was offered a freelance training position with a strong probability of eventually being hired as a full-time employee.

Sun News Network Broadcast Supervisor Ben Rogers concluded: “He has proved to be a very quick study in our various production settings and has a very positive work ethic that has been infectious in our close-knit department.”
