Notice to Members: Former Everest Employees

The closure of Everest College has affected thousands of Ontarians.  While plans are being made by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) to accommodate the nearly 2,700 displaced students, there are approximately 450 employees who have also been affected.

To provide assistance to former Everest employees, Career Colleges Ontario has created a Facebook page to connect private career colleges that may be able to absorb displaced Everest employees with the former employees themselves.

Please note that when posting potential opportunities to the page, career colleges should ensure that the following information is included:

  • College Name
  • Contact Name
  • Contact Information (telephone, email address)

Also please include the following information for each position available:

  • Position Title
  • Program, if applicable
  • City
  • Campus, if applicable
  • Qualifications
  • Summary of Role Objectives

Click here for the Facebook page.

Please feel free to share the above Facebook page on your institution’s social networks.
