BRANTFORD, ON, Mar. 31, 2020 –  The Ontario government announced it is taking measures to reduce the financial burden for students during the COVID-19 crisis.

This afternoon, the Premier and Minister of Colleges and Universities announced a 6-month deferral of all OSAP loan payments, including federal and Ontario portions of student loan payments. The interest-free moratorium will be in place until September 30, 2020.

The deferral applies to students who will soon graduate or have recently graduated and will put a hold on collections, interest and payments.
