Second Alert!
BRANTFORD, ON, OCTOBER 31, 2016 – Last week CCO released its Request for Proposals in order to recruit a third-party research firm to administer a demographic survey of career college students during the winter of 2017.

CCO Is working hard on behalf of our members to ensure that elected officials, policy makers, the media and the general public are aware of the demographic background of the career college student population.
The research firm will analyze the data gathered from the student survey and build a profile of career college students to be included in a report to be delivered to CCO in the spring of 2017.

CCO will use this profile during its meetings with MPPs at the next CCO Queen’s Park day. CCO will also use the profile in a series of presentations to employer groups throughout the year. The profile will form the foundation of a grass roots campaign that CCO will help members organize in their local MPP ridings.

CCO and the research firm will be in touch with your career college in early 2017 to request your cooperation in providing your students with access to the survey questions.

It has never been more important for our sector to be able to identify the profile of the students who are best served by career colleges.

If you know of any research firms that you believe might be interested in this project, please forward contact information to the CCO office by November 3.
