Shennel Lobrick

Shennel came to Canada from Jamaica in October of last year to study at Anderson College in the hopes of becoming an Intra Oral Dental Assistant. Inspired by her sister’s successful trajectory, Shennel wants to follow in her footsteps. Like many international students at career colleges across Ontario, Shennel came to college with a background in dentistry, having worked for a dental insurance company in Jamaica. Purpose-driven and confident in what she wants to achieve and give back to society, Shennel tells us: “My favourite part of the college experience is interacting with my classmates from different cultures. As a visual learner, I prefer coming on campus and getting the hands-on training with Anderson’s state-of-the-art equipment and awesome instructors.”
